Why Shepherd’s Sky?

A childhood memory that never left me.

One of my earliest memories is my granny teaching me this saying when I was a toddler: “Red sky at night, shepherd’s delight. Red sky in the morning, shepherd’s warning.” She could always sense rain before it arrived, and because my granddad was a shepherd, it has always stuck with me.

That family connection gives Shepherd’s Sky its name—and places weather, landscape and lived experience at the heart of the app.
